Prasonisi is located 9 km southern of Kattavia village, the last village of the southern part of the island of Rhodes. A narrow sandy line of about a kilometre connects the island with the land, where on the small island there is the well-known Prasonisi lighthouse that seperates the bay in two parts, the eastern and the western sea.

So, the ruffled side is ideal for water-sports lovers and the other is ideal for families and for those who want to take their first steps in windsurfing.
